Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress from America. Angela Evelyn is an American actress. Bassett was raised by her aunt in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Bassett was able to move with her younger sister to St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order so that they could be near their mom, who was separated from their father. Bassett, while in high-school was a fan of John Steinbeck's production Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she was inspired to be an actor. She attended Yale University New Haven Connecticut earning a bachelor's diploma (1980) in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. She dated Courtney B. Vance, an actress who was also at Yale and they were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. BA. (Afro-American Studies) in 1980. The Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett is currently working on one of the leading roles as Ramonda in the action film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
